About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Cook / Cafeteria Attendant to join our team. This role is responsible for morning food preparation, packaging, transportation of food items to an off-site location, and providing excellent customer service as a cafeteria attendant and cashier. This position requires someone who is organized, punctual, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Schedule Options 5:00 AM – 11:00 AM or 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Some flexibility may be required based on business needs.)

Requirements

  • Previous food prep, kitchen, cafeteria, or food service experience preferred
  • Ability to work early morning shifts
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if transportation is required)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Basic math skills and cash handling experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30–40 lbs
  • Dependable and punctual

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and portion standards
  • Package and label food for transport and service
  • Safely transport prepared food to an off-site location
  • Set up and maintain cafeteria service area
  • Serve customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in kitchen and service areas
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs
  • Follow all food safety and company policies
