SUMMARY: The Prep & Bussing position is to help provide the highest quality goods and service to our guests. To maintain a clean work area and keeping the tables and floors for our guests clean. Keep the little dragon cold case full, sauces stocked up and line items ready to be stocked so that we don't run out of any menu items.

Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to acquire a food handlers card.
  • Must be able to read, write legibly, and spell.
  • Food handlers permit preferred; ability to obtain a food handlers permit required.
  • Must be able to work & keep busy without constant supervision
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Must be skilled at multi-tasking and following detailed instructions precisely.
  • Excellent communication skills required.

Nice To Haves

  • Kitchen experience is preferred.
  • Bussing experience is preferred.
  • Customer Service skilled are preferred.
  • Customer Service Skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Must be able to follow a recipe
  • Prepare food consistently according to standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Keep the walk in cooler and freezers organized & rotation FIFO procedures followed
  • Unloading & putting away the order/food in a timely fashion so that no product is wasted but is put away in its correct spot
  • Ensure food safety and appropriate sanitation measures are followed.
  • Heat, cool, and get the temperature of items getting ready for consumption.
  • Stock items applying appropriate dating and rotation principles.
  • Operate and clean commercial restaurant equipment according to standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain temperature logs, time logs, and waste sheets.
  • Perform prep work, make sauces & create list of needed prepped items as needed.
  • Wipe down tables, remove garbage or dirty dishes from dining room, and sweep floors.
  • Keep the deli cold case stocked up to the managers par levels.
  • Help keep the line stocked up when line employees are too busy to grab it themselves.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.
