Full-Time PreOp RN - No weekends, no holidays and no call! Advanced Surgery Center of Northern Louisiana is a state-of-the-art multispecialty surgery center committed to providing the highest quality patient care. Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals strives for excellence in delivering safe and efficient surgical services to our community. Job Description: We are currently seeking a FT Pre Op RN to join our dynamic team. As a Preoperative and PACU RN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of patients through the perioperative process, from preoperative assessment to post-anesthesia care.
Responsibilities
- Perform preoperative assessments, including reviewing medical histories and conducting physical assessments.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and conditions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
