We are near the beautiful south Florida beaches. We preform over 500 cases a month. Services in gastroenterology, gynecology, orthopedics, ENT, plastics, podiatry and urology are provided. Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing
  • 1+ years applicable experience in leadership
  • 1+ years applicable clinical experience
  • Experience in OR or PACU

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual Spanish/English would be a PLUS

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all Preop and PACU areas of care
  • Establish and maintain an effective and supportive working relationship with your Administrator
  • Ensure that day-to-day operations are conducted in accordance with clinical practice standards and policies of the center
  • Ensure sufficient staffing daily by notifying your team of scheduling changes
  • Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of nursing care provided
  • Accessible to your staff by providing breaks, ensuring coverage for meal breaks, late cases and staffing shortages
  • Monitor your clinical area to ensure materials are provided
  • Facilitate effective and efficient transition between surgical procedures
  • Delegate, coach, mentor and handle conflict resolution with your team
  • Ability to build trust and gain the respect of your team through effective leadership
