DISC Surgery Center is seeking a full-time PreOp/PACU RN for our Thousand Oaks location. Hours will vary in this role but will require availability Monday - Friday. In this position, you will: Monitor post-operative patients' conditions and manage their pain levels Assess patients' vital signs and airways post-surgery Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families

Requirements

  • Valid RN license
  • BCLS and ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Proficiency in airway management and post-anesthesia recovery
  • Must have previous work experience in PreOp/PACU, specifically in total joint and spine procedure recovery

Responsibilities
