About The Position

The Premium Suites Food Runner is responsible for serving guests in the Suites. The Suites Food Runner must be personable and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our guests have a high-quality dining experience by serving their food in a timely and accurate manner. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need. This role pays an hourly rate of $13.00-$14.00 and is tip eligible. Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until December 31, 2025. Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills & a friendly, positive attitude with co-workers, managers, and guests.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English.
  • A true spirit of hospitality, relationship building and an ability to have fun at work in a live-event driven environment.
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain valid food handling certificate and TABC certificate prior to working at Moody Center.
  • Ability to meet the company standard of excellence in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with setup of food service areas within specific suites.
  • Organizes and prepares for events in assigned locations
  • Assures that all equipment is operable and clean prior to start of event.
  • Monitors and maintains food quality.
  • Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures, upholding safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring a positive atmosphere for team members and guests.
  • Adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
  • Monitors inventory and communicates when stock becomes low.
  • Demonstrate full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompaniments.
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
  • Maintain stock of all supplies the guests may need within the suites throughout the event.
  • Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
