Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Premium Runners to join our Food & Beverage team at the University of Illinois athletic facilities. Premium Runners play a critical role in delivering a first-class experience in suites, clubs, and premium spaces at Memorial Stadium and State Farm Center. This position ensures timely and accurate delivery of food, beverages, and supplies to suite attendants and bartenders, helping OVG maintain the highest standards of service for Fighting Illini fans and guests. This role pays an hourly rate of $30.00 Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching This position will remain open until December 31, 2025.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in alignment with the athletic schedule.
  • Commitment to professionalism, reliability, and excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver food, beverage, and supply orders promptly to suites, clubs, and other premium areas.
  • Assist suite attendants and bartenders with restocking and replenishing items during events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, staging stations, and service hallways.
  • Support Premium Supervisors and Managers in set-up, execution, and breakdown of events.
  • Safely transport trays, cases, and supplies across venues, ensuring accuracy of orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to supervisors for restock.
  • Provide responsive, professional service with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the premium hospitality operation.
