NYCFC In November 2022, the Mayor's office announced a transformative development plan for Willets Point, Queens, including a proposal for New York City's first soccer-specific stadium. The proposed stadium will seat 25,000 fans and become the permanent home for New York City Football Club THE ROLE The Premium Operations Associate will serve as an integral part of the project team, reporting to and supporting the Director of Premium Client Services as well as other members of the leadership team. An important member of the team, this individual will serve as a key point of connectivity between the leadership team, clients, internal teams (sales, service, partnerships, the New York City FC organization) and external vendors. Project management of key initiatives, special strategy projects, and sales events will be a major component of the role.

Requirements

  • High emotional intelligence, intellectual curiosity, and desire to grow professionally
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills with entrepreneurial spirit
  • A team player, with excellent organizational experience, as well as effectively being able to communicate internally and externally with senior management
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with the ability to be self-directed/self-starter while managing multiple projects/initiatives at the same time
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as well as nights, weekends, holidays as required
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and basic accounting principles
  • Knowledge of general graphic design and creative skills
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years' experience including, but not limited to, executive level administrative support, customer service, project management, event coordination and sales & marketing

Responsibilities

  • Serve as executive support to the SVP and the Director of Premium Client Services & leadership team assisting with tasks including, but not limited to, expenses, calendar management, meeting coordination and preparation, etc.
  • Project manage key initiatives (sales center design, day-to-day office operations, research & analysis, reporting, etc...)
  • Attend all departmental meetings as needed, take and distribute notes/action items.
  • Support and help plan (virtual and live) for internal team members, prospecting, and execution of premium events.
  • Collaborate with internal Legends corporate departments (Marketing/Creative, IT, HR, Legal, Finance, etc.), while serving as a central communication stakeholder for the Sales & Marketing team
  • Lead the implementation and execution of premium seating member payment processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a seamless customer experience.
  • Assist in organizing property-level bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Coordinate the fulfillment of gift requests for both internal and external recipients (develop and maintain vendor relationships, budgeting, etc.)
