Fuel the fan experience with flavor. As the Premium Manager at Stanford University, you will be the architect of world-class hospitality across our iconic athletic venues. This role is a unique hybrid of three distinct specialties: the strategic sales lifecycle of a Group Sales Manager, the operational precision of a Catering Manager, and the hospitality service of a Suites Manager. You aren't just managing a floor; you are leading front-line operations to ensure every guest receives a "Show Quality" experience. From driving financial performance and inventory control to motivating hourly teams, you will champion our culture of Heartfelt Hospitality. The ideal leader is an experienced operations expert who is obsessed with people, standards, and making every event a landmark success.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume food and beverage or hospitality environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferred.
  • High level of computer literacy and proficiency in CRM/POS systems.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and a genuine passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Capable of walking for long periods, especially on event days.
  • Required availability includes weekends, holidays, and evenings

Responsibilities

  • Manage the event sales lifecycle, including responding to inquiries, negotiating menus, and executing catering agreements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with university partners, guests, and subcontractors to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Develop location-specific food and wine knowledge to effectively sell and present premium services.
  • Lead the daily operations for all catering and suite functions, ensuring setups match the BEOs exactly.
  • Coordinate with culinary and operation teams to oversee equipment maintenance, inventory, and staffing bids.
  • Ensure all areas meet "Show Quality" standards and comply with security, safety, and sanitation protocols.Facilitate weekly BEO meetings to align all stakeholders on event expectations and logistics.
  • Achieve assigned budget, daily sales, and cost goals through effective labor management and revenue development.
  • Manage client billing, and final payments in accordance with Levy standards.
  • Utilize financial control systems to verify inventories and complete required month-end reporting.
  • Interview, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team capable of delivering The Levy Difference.
  • Foster a cooperative work environment that maximizes productivity and morale.
  • Hold team members accountable to steps of service and Levy Company guidelines.
