In alignment with strategy and policy, this role will be involved in the development of pricing studies, programs and rate designs that align with industry best practices and are supported by sound and accurate analysis.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to analyze and disseminate large amounts of data.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as a demonstrated ability to utilize financial applications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial/statistical modeling and pricing tools preferred, such as SAS, R, or Python.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • For a Level 1 (Associate), a minimum of no previous years of experience to two years related experience is required
  • For a Level 2 (Journey), a minimum of two years of experience to four years related experience is required
  • For a Level 3 (Senior), a minimum of five years of related experience is required.
  • A bachelor's degree relevant to the assignment from an accredited institution is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with regulatory compliance, RTOs, transmission/OATT pricing, and/or energy markets a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost studies and develop rates, rate adjustments, rate policy, regulations, and other resources contracts.
  • Define problems, work with large data sets, apply advanced economic and mathematical concepts, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Recommend solutions to new and complex problems, develop innovative strategies, quantify the competitive performance of the organization's operations and/or markets, and evaluate the potential impact of changes.
  • Administer electric rate change proceedings and document rate alternative suggestions and management recommendations.
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative economic and financial analyses for corporate-wide use.
  • Represent Pricing and participate in company-wide cross-functional teams.
