About The Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Preconstruction Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in the early phases of construction projects, including estimating, planning, and coordination. The ideal candidate is pursuing a degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field and is eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program.
- Strong interest in construction, architecture, or engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- experience with estimating software is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
- Support the development of bid packages and proposals.
- Help review project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Participate in subcontractor outreach and bid analysis.
- Attend preconstruction meetings and assist with documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and design teams.
- Perform data entry and maintain organized project files.
