About The Position

What you’ll own Develop a training curriculum for production, quality, and administrative roles—covering safety, quality systems, and role-specific competencies. Coordinate onboarding for new hires and keep refresher courses and certifications on schedule. Align all learning content with AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP; ensure ITAR awareness and CMMC-related cyber training/documentation are in place. Maintain impeccable training records (electronic and physical), track certification status/recert dates, and publish metrics for leadership and audits. Prepare documentation for internal, customer, and third-party audits; participate in internal audits focused on competency and training effectiveness. Spot skill gaps, recommend corrective actions, and improve training programs based on outcomes. Partner with Production, Quality, HR, and Engineering to forecast training needs; coordinate external trainers, testing agencies, and certification bodies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years in manufacturing (precision sheet metal, aerospace, or defense preferred).
  • Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and NADCAP; familiarity with ITAR and CMMC-related training and documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital record-keeping systems.
  • Outstanding organization, attention to detail, communication, and people skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience administering training programs or LMS platforms.
  • Audit support experience (internal or external).
  • Certifications in training, quality, or aerospace manufacturing (e.g., ASQ, ATA, CIPD).
  • Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, special processes, or aerospace manufacturing workflows.
