About The Position

At Aegis, we’re teaming up with a local manufacturing company to find a technician who can turn engineered concepts into fully functioning automated machines. The mission Imagine bringing to life a new automated cell: you square the frame, align shafts and motors, mount brackets and drive components, then route and connect pneumatics and hydraulics so everything moves as intended. Your instruments—calipers and micrometers—confirm the tolerances. Your hands complete the subassemblies. Your eye ensures the machine runs smoothly. Where you’ll focus Assembly of industrial automation systems, including positioning, alignment, and precision adjustment of frame assemblies, brackets, drive mechanisms, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Subassembly and verification using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) and hand tools. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to guide build steps and validate fits. Background that fits 3-5+ years as an industrial automation assembler, machine builder, maintenance technician, or service technician. Ability to interpret engineering drawings with confidence. Demonstrated skill with precision measurement (calipers, micrometers) and hand tools. Experience assembling multi-component automated machines: frame assemblies, drive mechanisms, motors, shafts, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc. Why this team Significant organizational growth and continued investment. Hands-on work with cutting-edge manufacturing technology and one-off custom equipment. Next step Bring your precision and craftsmanship to the floor—apply below.
