About the Role: The position is a great entry-level opportunity for individuals eager to explore the fields of engineering and manufacturing. It requires the ability to use a computer, perform electrical and mechanical assembly, hand solder small components, and conduct microscopic inspection. In addition to the assembly of products, our assemblers also do some of their own testing which may include working with liquid helium. Training is provided for all individuals. You will learn the basics of microelectronics assembly, use state-of-the-art equipment, and have vast opportunities for professional growth and development. If you have experience in any field that requires manual dexterity (artists, musicians, crafters, etc.), you could be a great fit for this role! While entry-level positions are available, we also welcome experienced Assemblers who may qualify for level II or III positions.

Requirements

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• A desire to contribute to a collaborative team culture.
• Detail orientation.
• Ability to use computers.
• Must pass vision acuity tests with or without vision correction.

Nice To Haves

• Assembly and soldering experience or similar experience requiring high dexterity soldering (microscope experience desirable)

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of electrical parts and products with assistance or direction.
• Read and follow work instructions.
• Test products during and after final assembly.
• Work with chemicals safely and properly, including disposal.
• Use ERP system to ensure inventory and job accuracy.
