About The Position

Let’s Get Precise Do you thrive on tight tolerances and clean, efficient setups? As a Precision CNC Machinist, you’ll own the process on vertical mills and lathes—from reading prints to dialing in offsets—so every custom part ships to spec. What You’ll Do Pull work orders, setup instructions, and prints from Epicor (when available). Interpret blueprints; determine the optimal setup and program strategy. Edit programs or write segments to meet job needs. Set up and operate machines; handle changeovers that require manual precision. Deburr parts using a deburring wheel or hand tools. Measure with hand gauges and calipers; verify tolerance and apply offsets. Scan parts into Epicor; log dates and job information without errors. Collaborate with engineers to boost throughput and quality. What Makes You a Fit Clear communicator and team contributor. Mechanical aptitude with strong blueprint-reading capability. Baseline Requirements Lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs safely. 2+ years on comparable CNC equipment (preferred). High school diploma. G-code reading and editing proficiency. Screening Criteria Candidates with two (2) or fewer “Inconsistent” ratings on their most recent performance review are qualified to proceed with the interview process. Candidates with three (3) or more “Inconsistent” ratings are not qualified to proceed. Candidates with any “Unsatisfactory” rating on their most recent review are not qualified to proceed. Candidates may have no more than one (1) documented written warning within the past 12 months are qualified to proceed.
