About The Position
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Department of Anesthesiology is searching for an Anesthesiologist with experience working in the pre-procedure services ( PPS /Precare) environment, to be hired at the Clinical Professor level. UNC Hospitals are located on the main campus of UNC Chapel Hill and provide full service tertiary and quaternary care in a rich academic environment. UNC is offering this opportunity for a part-time position for clinical faculty to work on a per diem basis. This non-salaried faculty position is perfect for an individual with a flexible schedule, willing to work intermittently as the Department needs demand. This physician will fill in for others allowing vacations, meetings, FMLA and other gaps in the schedule. Weekly and monthly hours are negotiable.
Requirements
- Anesthesiologist experience
- Experience working in the pre-procedure services ( PPS /Precare) environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in an academic setting
- Teaching graduate level learners (interns, residents, fellows)
- Working in a team which includes CRNAs
- Collaborating with other services
