Immuta is experiencing exceptional growth and we have an immediate need for a Solution Architect (Pre-Sales Engineer) who is looking for a rare opportunity to be part of a special team. As a Solution Architect, you'll work with our Field team bringing technical sales experience to an impressively accomplished sales team. Immuta's Data Provisioning Platform gets the right data into the right hands faster, enabling data teams to break through data access barriers and achieve both scalability and data security. The Solution Architect role will maximize Immuta’s value proposition, installed base, brand awareness and customer satisfaction. You will provide technical, functional, and design support to our Field team throughout the entire sales cycle. You will have refined interpersonal and verbal communication skills, a genuine interest in our customers’ missions, and a desire to help the Sales team close business and successfully integrate Immuta. Your proven experience and track record is necessary to simply, accurately, and articulately lead all aspects of the requirements and solutions integration needs for handoff to our Customer Success Team. Experience as a sales engineer/ solutions engineer involved in selling products to large enterprise clients is most preferred.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a technical sales role, working with an enterprise software or data product.
  • Deep understanding of data lake, database and data warehouse technology, to include SQL experience.
  • Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, written, visual (presentations), and verbal.
  • Comfortable presenting to executive management, highly technical engineers, and larger audiences.
  • Multitasking, critical thinking skills, and the ability to influence and manage multiple priorities are essential.
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and able to see the “big picture” - we are all working towards the same mission!
  • Familiarity of access control and data governance solutions
  • History of managing data access through identity management.
  • Strong data analysis skills, knowing what can / cannot be possible, and ability to visualize data in the best way possible.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% as needed to achieve GTM objectives.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Starburst, are preferred.
  • Cloud Data Architecture, Data Analytics, and Programming experiences desired.
  • Statistical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Position access control solutions via workshops, demos, whiteboards, proposals, etc.
  • Work with Sales team to attend customer discovery calls, on-site meetings, and trade shows to position Immuta as a technology of choice.
  • Build custom demos for customers.
  • Identify customer needs and requirements.
  • Define all elements of a customer’s analytics computing environment.
  • Define customer acceptance criteria for evaluation projects.
  • Execute Proof of Concepts, Proofs of Value, and workshops to meet customer evaluation success criteria.
  • Answer customer questions and respond to RFI/RFPs
  • Provide technical consultation and disseminate customer requirements information to the Sales and Customer Success teams.
  • Set priorities and keep the team focused on the important tasks.
