About The Position

The Sales Solution Architect plays a critical role in bridging customer business needs with technical solutions, partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive successful customer outcomes. This role serves as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle—shaping solution design, leading technical discovery, delivering product demonstrations, and supporting proof‑of‑concepts—to help close complex, value‑based deals. The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with excellent communication and consultative selling skills, enabling them to confidently articulate how our solutions solve customer challenges, integrate into existing environments, and deliver measurable business value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, such as Management Information Systems or Computer Science
  • Java, Javascript, Python and Typescript experience
  • Significant experience in technical sales and relevant industry or technology
  • Experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM)
  • Experience with general software implementation methodologies
  • Able to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Self-directed with the ability to manage projects to completion
  • Strong collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and use engaging, informative and compelling presentation methodologies
  • Speak or write with ease, clarity and impact, using a communication style appropriate to the subject and the audience
  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others; effective at gaining consensus
  • Driven to learn and stay current professionally
  • Up to 60% travel time required
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job

Responsibilities

  • Act as the technical lead for complex customer engagements, applying extensive knowledge of solutions and/or vertical
  • Lead customer pre-sales meetings, identify technical requirements, and formulate solution strategy
  • Create a demonstration of the solution strategy, applying solutions knowledge, experience and best practice knowledge
  • Present demonstration of proposed solution to key customer stakeholders for validation and buy-in
  • Coordinate meeting with global services to transition key information; remain actively involved in process to ensure seamless transfer of customer
  • Compose internal documentation that fully reflects all activity related to the solution strategy
  • Provide technical responses for request for proposals (RFPs)
  • Take proactive measures to identify and improve internal efficiencies and grow knowledge of the team; remain current on best practices and market trends
  • Present at trade shows, conferences and events
  • Work with development in support of solution enhancements
  • Provide guidance to other team members
