About The Position

Reporting to the Pre-Sales Leader, you will work closely with Account Sales, Marketing, Studio Leaders, and Operations to create a sales plan, identify clients and opportunities, develop the pursuit team, and ultimately help close business. You will drive new revenue by selling consulting services and custom digital solutions to C-Suite executives of telecom providers in the Americas, EMEA or APAC. This is an individual contributor role based in a city with a major Amdocs presence. Amdocs has a hybrid home & office work structure.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience working in and supporting a Sales organization
  • 8+ years’ experience in business writing in a Sales or comparable writing environment
  • 3+ years leading bid/proposal management personnel to ensure successful execution of the proposal process including developing content and pricing documents in a large IT organization
  • Trusted Consultant/Coach with a strong focus on client success.
  • Experienced in Consultative Experience & Technology Sales to Telecom Providers and Beyond Telco clients.
  • An outstanding writer and have great oral communication skills.
  • Client-centric and have relationship-driven business perspective.
  • Highly collaborative and solution oriented.
  • Experienced in creative / digital consulting, SI or customer experience solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Experience & Digital Engineering Studio leadership, telco & beyond telco presales team and our Amdocs’ account sales team to create a strategic expansion plan for the account. This includes the specific strategy to be used to expand the Experience & Digital Engineering Studio solutions and services throughout the client enterprise.
  • Create a pipeline of client expansion opportunities with a total value of 3 times the account revenue quota.
  • Capture weekly revenue expansion activities in Salesforce.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings.
  • Participate in weekly leads intake meeting.
  • Participate in all pipeline reviews, strategic planning and regular sales cadence meetings with the assigned accounts sales team.
  • Support the studio leadership team with evolving best-in-class business development tools and processes, including establishing strategic client qualification terms, pursuits documents, and client-facing materials.
  • Collaborate with the studio leadership team to develop the proper pursuit team for each client expansion opportunity.
  • Create the pursuits content individually and/or in collaboration with the studio leadership team.
  • Organize all aspects of the pursuit and moving it to the next step while managing all contributions from the pursuit team.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, offerings, and client presence.
  • Monitor the client position within the current marketplace.
  • Support Statement of Work (SOW) terms and content for each additional opportunity.
  • Document meetings, critical client feedback and decisions during pursuit and account development activities.
  • Maintain client relationships and develop new relationships throughout the client enterprise through meetings, networking, consultative sessions, and bringing other team members, either local or corporate, into the process. Document the relationship map.
  • Become a trusted advisor to clients and our accounts sales team through regular contact, successful delivery of contracted projects and honest conversations about new opportunities.
  • Create and maintain the client expansion strategy including potential changes to the client’s business opportunities and issues.
  • Provide the studio leadership and our accounts leadership team a regular cadence of updates, intelligence, and obstacles to resolve.
  • Work effectively with Operations to ensure forecast accuracy and maintenance, and successful delivery of contracted engagements.
  • Act as the key interface with the account teams for issue escalation.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews internally and with clients.
  • Help clients promote their successes where the studio has been a catalyst. Ensure capture of case studies.
