About The Position

Phigenics is a leader in water management and safety, helping organizations protect people, optimize operations, and maintain compliance across complex building water systems. Our approach combines cloud-based software, advanced analytics, laboratory testing, and expert consulting to help customers proactively manage water quality risks—especially Legionella—and build defensible, data-driven water management programs. Trusted across healthcare, hospitality, manufacturing, government, education, and commercial real estate, Phigenics operates as an independent authority on water safety. Because we do not sell treatment chemicals, our guidance is unbiased and grounded in science, data, and recognized industry standards such as ASHRAE 188. We are expanding our commercial team and seeking a Pre‑Sales Engineer / Solutions Consultant to help prospects and customers understand, design, and adopt Phigenics’ software and services. This highly collaborative, customer-facing role blends technical expertise, industry knowledge, and consultative problem‑solving. You will work closely with Sales, Engineering, and Client Services to guide customers from early discovery through solution design and deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales to conduct discovery sessions with prospective customers, gaining insight into their facilities, water systems, regulatory requirements, and operational challenges.
  • Translate customer needs into tailored solutions that combine Phigenics software (e.g., phiAnalytics), monitoring, testing, and consulting services.
  • Deliver product demonstrations, technical walkthroughs, and solution presentations to technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Address questions related to data capture, system architecture, integrations, compliance workflows, and reporting.
  • Support RFP responses, proposals, and proofs‑of‑concept.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for water management programs, system monitoring, and data‑driven risk reduction.
  • Clearly articulate how Phigenics’ platform enables compliance, defensibility, and improved operational decision‑making.
  • Work with Product, Engineering, and Client Services to communicate customer feedback, identify gaps, and inform product roadmap decisions.
  • Ensure smooth transitions from pre‑sales activities to implementation and ongoing customer success.
