The Role The Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant plays a critical role in supporting the sales organization by delivering technical expertise and solution design throughout the sales cycle. This individual contributor partners closely with Account Executives, Product teams, and prospective customers to demonstrate the value of our public safety SaaS solutions. The role focuses on technical presentations, proof-of-concepts, and solution alignment—without direct management responsibilities. This job posting is being used to fill an existing vacancy.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical sales roles.
  • Strong technical background in SaaS, cloud solutions, or enterprise software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including ability to engage C-level and technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Due to the nature of our work with public safety agencies, this position requires compliance with the FBI's Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy. Candidates must successfully pass a comprehensive, fingerprint-based background check. Please note that specific customer contracts may impose additional security verification requirements. Obtaining and maintaining all required security clearances is a condition of employment. Responsibilities

  • Understand customer requirements and design tailored SaaS solutions that meet operational and compliance needs.
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Support proof-of-concept (POC) engagements, ensuring successful configuration and validation.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop winning strategies for complex deals.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs with accurate and persuasive technical content.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects, articulating product capabilities and business value.
  • Work with Product Management to provide feedback on feature gaps and roadmap priorities.
  • Partner with Marketing to create technical collateral and case studies.
  • Ensure alignment with Legal and Compliance for regulatory requirements in public safety.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in public safety.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of product capabilities and integration options.
