Join our team as the Pre-Processing Manager! This role leads the daily operations of our Pre-Processing team, ensuring donated goods are accurately sorted, organized, and prepared for retail success. The Pre-Processing Manager provides hands-on leadership, coaching, and accountability to a dynamic team, while partnering closely with New Goods, Retail, and Transportation to keep product flowing efficiently. Position Expectations: Oversee the Pre-Processing Team responsible for sorting raw donated merchandise into appropriate product categories for further processing or store distribution. Ensure sorting standards are followed to maximize quality, efficiency, and downstream productivity. Maintain daily production reports and ensure pre-processing goals are achieved. Train, coach, and develop team members on product identification, category standards, safety, and workflow efficiency. Maintain organized and safe work areas, ensuring compliance with all safety and loss prevention guidelines. Collaborate with the New Goods Manager to oversee the sorting and pricing of new goods items prior to shipment to stores. Foster teamwork and clear communication between Pre-Processing, Transportation, and Retail departments. Ensure all activities align with GINM’s operational, safety, and ethical standards. Maintain confidentiality, foster teamwork, and represent Goodwill’s mission with professionalism.
