Pre-Op/Post-Op Registered Nurse PRN
About The Position
Indiana Specialty Surgery Center is hiring a PRN Pre-Op/Post-Op Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing all nursing care services for pre- or post-surgical patients, ensuring that care is delivered according to accepted standards. The RN must ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care. This role involves caring for patients of all ages, from 1 month to geriatric.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- ACLS Required
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
- Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre or post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care
- Ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care
- Care for all ages from 1 month to geriatric
