Pre-Op/Post-Op Registered Nurse PRN
About The Position
Pankratz Eye Institute is seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Pre-Op/Post-Op Registered Nurse for a state-of-the-art healthcare facility. The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing all nursing care services for pre- or post-surgical patients according to accepted standards of care. This role ensures the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards. The RN will provide care for patients of all ages, from 1 month to geriatric.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license in the state
- ACLS Required
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
- Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, organize, coordinate and implement all nursing care services for the pre or post-surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care
- Ensure the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care while maintaining compliance with professional nursing, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards of care
- Care for all ages from 1 month to geriatric
