Requirements

A valid RN license in the state of Texas.
Previous experience in pre-op or PACU nursing, preferably in an outpatient or ambulatory setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to reassure and educate patients during stressful moments.
A commitment to patient-centered care with a focus on safety and recovery.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for surgery in the pre-op unit, ensuring they are informed, comfortable, and ready for their procedures.
Monitor patients in the PACU post-surgery, providing expert care during recovery, including pain management and patient education.
Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a seamless flow of care throughout the patient's experience.
Maintain accurate medical records and follow all safety protocols to ensure the highest standards of care.
