Pre-Litigation Assistant
About The Position

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Pre-Litigation Assistant to join our Colorado Springs office. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, managing multiple priorities, and supporting clients and attorneys in a high-volume legal setting. Our firm specializes in Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation, and we are looking for someone who is ready to contribute to a strong, service-driven team. This is a full-time, fully in-office position, Monday through Friday, in our Colorado Springs office.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of office-based customer service experience required
- Strong administrative, organizational, and follow-up skills required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Accurate typing speed of 65 WPM required; typing assessment will be administered
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
- Personal injury and/or law firm experience preferred, but not required
- Prior experience in a legal assistant, case assistant, claims, customer service, or office support role preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Responsibilities
- Send initial representation and file letters to insurance companies and other interested parties
- Request police reports, photographs, and other incident-related documentation
- Request, organize, and follow up on medical records and billing records
- Assist with claim setup and communication with insurance carriers
- Draft routine correspondence and assist with preparation of case-related documents
- Enter and maintain accurate data in the case management system
- Calendar and follow up on outstanding items
- Post entries to client accounts, as applicable
- Answer phones and provide professional customer service to clients and vendors
- Greet and assist clients and visitors to ensure exceptional client service
- Support attorneys and staff with general administrative and office needs
- Cover the front desk during the lunch hour and for morning and afternoon breaks
- Perform other duties as assigned
