About The Position

We are looking for a Pre-Litigation Supervising Attorney to join our growing team. LA Century Law is a personal injury firm focusing on culture and growth, both individually and as a team. We help those that have been injured and damaged against large insurance companies that do nothing but delay or prevent them from recovering from what was taken. The right candidate will be judged on the ability to follow instructions as well as experience and skill. This role is perfect for a candidate who desires to grow within a firm. We are a firm focusing on investing in the growth of all candidates.

Requirements

Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
Must have at least 18 months of experience in Personal Injury law.
Familiarity with Casepeer or other legal software.
Strong negotiation, communication, and time management skills.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Ability to supervise and provide guidance and counsel.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Team-oriented and positive attitude to our Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities

Manage a significant case load and oversee a team of Case Managers.
Aid in case assessment, legal strategy, and medical management to maximize case value.
Manage and oversee cases from initial intake through settlement.
Review performance metrics of case managers.
Negotiate and finalize settlements.
Review demands and complaints.
Interpret medical reports and bills.
Communicate with clients on a regular basis regarding legal strategy and treatment plans.
Analyze fact patterns to help clear coverage and establish liability.
