About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented Lead Teacher for the Pre-k classroom at The Malvern School of Horsham, PA. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday. The school is dedicated to educating young children through innovative programming, emphasizing a quality, child-centered philosophy, and maintaining clean, attractive, state-of-the-art facilities. Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
  • An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
  • An associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.

Responsibilities

  • Teacher plans, supervises and implements a superior Early Childhood Educational program in accordance with school policies and The Malvern School philosophy.
  • Teacher maintains a safe, healthy and educational environment for the class.
  • Teacher communicates regularly with parents, in person and through the use of technology, meeting (or exceeding) parent expectations.
