About The Position
Are you a pre-dental student seeking hands-on experience in a thriving dental practice? Our Pre-Dental Internship Program is designed to provide undergraduate students or gap year students with meaningful exposure to the clinical and administrative aspects of dental care, preparing you for the rigors of dental school and a future career in dentistry. You will work under the close supervision of experienced dental assistants and dentists, gaining increasing responsibility as your skills grow. This is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your knowledge of dentistry, build your professional network, and strengthen your dental school applications.
Requirements
- Students currently enrolled in a pre-dental track or interested in applying to dental school
- Strong interest in healthcare, dentistry, and patient care
- Detail-oriented, professional, and eager to learn in a clinical environment
- Must be available on May 20th for orientation and cannot miss more than 5 days throughout the internship.
Responsibilities
- Assist in patient preparation, help patients feel comfortable, and provide basic explanations of procedures.
- Learn to take X-rays, sterilize dental instruments, prepare materials, and assist dentists during various procedures.
- Adhere to strict sterilization and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic clinical environment.
