About The Position

We are looking for a high school student interested in gaining practical experience in the field of concrete/construction. As a Concrete/Construction Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced professionals to learn the ins and outs of concrete and construction work, contributing to real projects and developing valuable skills.

Requirements

• Current high school student with a strong interest in concrete/construction and enrolled in a trade program
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team.
• Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment.
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and committed to the apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and pouring of concrete for various construction projects.
• Learn and apply proper techniques for finishing, leveling, and smoothing concrete surfaces.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of concrete forms and molds.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
• Work closely with experienced concrete workers to understand project requirements.
• Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with coworkers to achieve project goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
