About The Position

The Pre-Accessioning/Shipping Technician is responsible for the return of materials to our clients via FedEx and CSI courier and accurately noting shipping details in the corresponding case. The technician will also monitor and ship RPMI to clients via FedEx and CSI Courier. As time permits, he/she will also assist in the building of kits, packaging and shipping of kits and tracking their delivery. Consistently adheres to laboratory policies for safety, conduct and performances.

Requirements

HS Diploma, vocational education or higher, some college preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
High attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

Laboratory/medical knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

Manages the return of client materials via FedEx and CSI Courier, including entering case notes
Enters shipments in the Fed Ex manager and prints Air Bill labels for shipping pouches.
Reconciles empty boxes and disposes of damaged boxes.
Ensures returned ice packs are placed in the freezer for reuse.
Monitors, responds, and completes "Shipping Help" requests.
Monitors supply tickets for RPMI, kits on courier routes and kits for HRP.
Maintains clean work areas.
Provides related responsibilities as required.
