About The Position

The Practice Supervisor is a hands-on leader responsible for keeping daily clinic operations running smoothly while supporting a high-quality, patient-centered experience. This is a working supervisor role that balances frontline team leadership with direct involvement in clinical and operational workflows. Serving as a visible, go-to resource, the Supervisor provides day-to-day oversight of clinical and patient access staff, offers real-time coaching and problem-solving, and helps ensure efficient patient flow. In partnership with the Practice Manager, this role focuses on executing daily operations, supporting staff development, and reinforcing established workflows—without responsibility for budgeting or long-term strategic planning. Approximately 40–50% of the role includes direct and indirect patient care, such as assisting with rooming, triage, and coverage during peak times while modeling expected standards of care. The Supervisor also coordinates staffing assignments, addresses workflow barriers, supports onboarding and training, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role is ideal for an active RN who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading from the front, and is passionate about supporting both patients and team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of health care experience
  • Graduate of accredited professional school of nursing
  • Current Montana License as a Certified Registered Nurse
  • BLS certification required
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve
  • Demonstrated ability to create an environment of mutual trust and respect and two-way communication
  • Demonstrated ability to actively pursue positive change, both personally and organizationally
  • Demonstrated willingness to serve key constituents, including patients, coworkers, physicians, the community, and the organization and to exceed customer expectations
