About The Position

Akerman is seeking a seeking a full-time Practice Specialist to support the firm’s Healthcare Real Estate Team in our Denver office. Akerman has adopted a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities Prioritize competing demands and manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision. Maintain database of assignments and status on matters for the Healthcare Real Estate Team, including tracking and confirming critical dates. Send execution packages of leases and purchase documents for signature to client in emails and DocuSign, tracking signatures, compliance documents associated with the packages, and status for quarterly compliance reports. Provide support with billing, expenses, and reimbursement requests. Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including calendar management, meeting coordination, CLE tracking and submissions, travel arrangements, and file organization. Prepare first drafts of notices, letter agreements, and other template documents, contract timelines, and ancillary documents with direction from attorney. In addition to the administrative duties, the Practice Specialist will be responsible for billing matters as assigned by the attorney(s). Qualifications 10–15 years’ experience supporting all aspects of a busy law firm practice, preferably with exposure to real estate Advanced computer proficiency, including MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF programs. Excellent typing speed and accuracy; strong editing, formatting, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. Requirements
