About The Position

At Goodstart Early Learning, we’re re-imagining what’s possible. Our ambitious 2025 Strategic Direction focuses on delivering the National Quality Framework to an exceeding standard, ensuring every child has access to the highest quality education and care. As a Practice Partner, you’ll play a critical role in uplifting practice across centres in Hervey Bay, Bundaberg, and surrounding regional communities. You’ll be the go-to expert for centre teams, providing on-demand coaching, advice, and support to help them achieve excellence in the National Quality Standards (NQS) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-year Early Childhood qualification from a recognised university.
  • Proven track record in teaching and learning practice uplift and experience with children aged birth to 8 years.
  • Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and other state-based approved learning frameworks.
  • Understanding of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
  • Current and valid Working with Children Check / Police Clearance as per relevant state legislation.
  • Passionate about coaching, collaboration, and delivering exceptional outcomes for children and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for centres providing expert guidance, coaching, and support to enhance teaching and learning for all children, including those with additional needs.
  • Partner with centres to implement Quality Improvement Plans and drive measurable improvements through the National Quality Standards and Quality Rating Scale.
  • Coach and mentor centre leaders to build long-term capability in teaching, learning, and inclusion practices.
  • Provide on-demand advice and solutions to complex teaching and learning challenges, sharing best practice examples and resources across centres.
  • Collaborate with state practice teams and specialists to identify trends, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and strengthen centre capability.
  • Analyse centre performance data to inform targeted practice improvements and professional development opportunities.
  • Advocate for children’s rights and champion best practice across all aspects of early childhood education.
