About The Position

Support Senior Operations Manager in the day-to-day operations of the office. Directs Supervisors engaged in admin/clinic operations. Read the ledger, assist with directing billing concerns. Address patient concerns/complaints. Builds relationships of trust and advocates the needs for the Doctor(s), staff and the Company. Provides performance management with direction of the Practice Manager. Assists in developing and maintaining new policies and procedures for the office. Prepares operational reports and reviews schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Recommends cost saving methods to improve efficiency of the office. Supports the Practice Manager to identify and resolve concerns regarding services to customers. Participates in office work with team members to facilitate productivity and customer service to overcome difficult aspects. Ensures compliance with applicable government laws, rules, regulations, and Company policies and procedures. Performs additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • HS Diploma required
  • 1-3 years in leadership/management role
  • Advanced knowledge of HIPAA guidelines
  • Knowledge of diagnostic codes, billing codes and filing claims
  • Ability to manage and work with a Customer Service attitude and polite telephone etiquette
  • Proficient in MS(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet)
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Able to lead and manage staff (co-workers)
  • Aptitude with mathematical functionality (budgets, ledgers, financial reporting)
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, driven, focused, observant
  • Proactive, takes initiative, attention to detail, a problem solver

Nice To Haves

  • College Degree preferred
  • COA/COT/COMT Certification preferred
  • Ophthalmology experience strongly preferred
