About The Position

The health services that became the Anthony L Jordan Health Corporation (Jordan Health) began more than 100 years ago, in 1904. As one of the first 5 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) established in the nation, its roots are steeped in service to those who face barriers to health and health care, meeting their need for comprehensive medical, dentistry, behavioral health, and community services. Starting in northeast Rochester, NY, Jordan Health has since expanded to become a network of primary care offices and health centers serving residents living in three quadrants of Rochester, NY and in Canandaigua, N.Y. Jordan Health is now seeking a Practice Manager who, under the guidance of the Director of Nursing, is primarily responsible for the oversight and management of the Primary Care Services and for the supervision of clinical support staff. The PM is also responsible to work collaboratively with clinicians and staff to ensure efficient, quality care delivery consistent with the mission of Anthony L. Jordan Health Corporation. Requirements

• NYS RN License with no negative actions.
• Minimum two years of management experience.
• Excellent computer skills a must, preferably with an electronic health record.
• Current provider BLS/CPR through the American Heart Association.
• Infection Control Certificate.
• NYS RN Registration Certificate
• Cognizance of the prevalent stressors and their impact in both the professional clinician and the patient populations in the community health center primary care setting.
• Ability to work creatively with other health care professionals’ from a variety of disciplines to achieve maximum productivity.

Nice To Haves

• Clinical experience with Family Medicine preferred.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent allied health field with experience as a manager/supervisor.
