About The Position

Works under the direction of the RBHC Director of Operations with input from the RMG Practice Director. The Practice Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of multiple practices (RBHC inpatient, RBHC Psychiatric ED, RBHC outpatient). In conjunction with the Director of Operations and/or RMG Practice Director, the Practice Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of practice specific business plans to assure quality, service and financial performance against budgeted expectations. The Practice Manager is also responsible for ensuring the practices adhere to standard operating policies and procedures and meet any specified annual goals and objectives. Responsible for proactive financial management of the practices, including flexibly managing controllable expenses to realized volume and productivity. Responsible for the supervision of all operational aspects of the practice: appointments, staffing levels, payroll, customer service, access to care, and oversight of the revenue cycle, including coding, charge posting, Time of Service collections and chart audits as appropriate. What you will do Assists director and staff with activities related to accreditation and regulatory issues. Maintains knowledge of legal and regulatory guidelines related to practice environment and medical records/Electronic Health Record. Assures that customer service is a primary focus of the practice. Uses information from patient satisfaction surveys and other tools to improve patient perception of care. Resolves concerns and responds to complaints related to care, access, and service. Ensures RBHC provider metrics are met. Facilitates monthly practice meetings and weekly huddles with physicians and staff to review financials, provider measures, and other operational issues to ensure the practices are running smoothly and continue to be financially strong. Complete annual and 90-day evaluations on time. Develop career plans with team members including discipline and plans for improvement. Assists with the recruitment, orientation and retention of new providers to the practice. Responsible for revenue capture, reconciliation, and other financial aspects of the practice such as staffing levels/training, payroll, cash/account management. Collaborates with providers and practice director on office operations and management including human and material resources.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years Related experience (Required)
