About Outpatient Clinics Corewell Health operates more than 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, offering a wide range of care options to the communities we serve. With over 40 types of primary care and specialty practices, team members have opportunities to explore diverse interests or specialize in a specific area. At the Grosse Pointe Medical Office Building, we provide care in multiple specialties, including Women’s Health, Thoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and General Surgery. Our cardiology services are expanding, creating exciting opportunities for growth. The Practice Manager will collaborate with the Director of Medical Group Operations to support these clinics, all located on the Grosse Pointe Hospital Campus. Our teams include physicians, advanced practice providers (APPs), registered nurses (RNs), medical assistants, business office assistants, and technicians working together to deliver exceptional care. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience managing multiple outpatient clinic operations. This is an on-site position, Monday – Friday.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in business, management or other related area Required.
  • Two (2) years with recent relevant experience in healthcare, medical practice or related work Required.
  • Two (2) years of recent and relevant supervisory or management experience Required.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, management or other related area strongly Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the activities of team members within practice(s) and oversees the delivery of optimal patient flow and patient satisfaction in collaboration with dyad partner.
  • Trains team members and serves as a liaison between providers, team members and director in daily operations.
  • Responsible for charge capture processing, standard work, process improvement and practice staffing.
  • Manages team member performance and development and ensures policy adherence.
