About The Position

The Practice Manager provides primary oversight of administrative and operational functions at Geneva Primary Care and FLH Primary Care (approximately 60% operational focus). This role is responsible for supervising staff, optimizing daily practice operations, and ensuring a high level of patient and provider satisfaction. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, and demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. This individual will collaborate closely with providers and staff to improve workflows, enhance patient experience, and support Occupational Health and Worker’s Compensation services.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in physician practice operations
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Experience with computerized patient scheduling systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and EMR systems
  • Strong understanding of CPT and ICD-10 coding
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates behaviors aligned with a healing, patient-centered environment, including professionalism, effective communication, and respect for all individuals
  • Ability to provide services across all age groups, including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
  • Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens may occur; adherence to safety protocols is required

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of physician office operations and medical billing
  • Experience creating and managing operating budgets
  • Experience with Medent systems
  • Background in outpatient registration/admissions
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience in scheduling and billing processes
  • Familiarity with Occupational Health, DOT, and Worker’s Compensation

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the physician practice
