About The Position

We are currently seeking a dedicated and vigilant 2nd Shift Security Officer (full-time) to join the Atlanta Hawks Practice Facility Security Team. This vital role is not only ensuring safety but also creating a secure and comfortable environment for everyone who enters the Atlanta Hawks Practice Facility. As a Security Officer, you will be the frontline in protecting our property, employees, and visitors by enforcing security policies and procedures. 2nd Shift Hours: 2:30 p.m - 11 p.m.

Requirements

• Must have a valid GA driver's license
• Clear background check and MVR check
• Highschool Diploma or GED
• Detail-oriented, professional image and integrity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management and computer skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as extended hours
• Must be physically able to demonstrate proficiency with all security equipment, as well as obtain and keep current First Aid Certification, and pass written tests related to security policies and procedures on an annual basis

Nice To Haves

• 2-3 years of security experience
• 2-4 year college degree

Responsibilities

• Access Control Monitor and control employee and visitors' access into the facility by checking badges and permit access to authorized personnel only . Lock/unlock areas as requested by authorized personnel. Control the shipping and receiving of packages
• Surveillance/ Patrolling Monitor assigned areas to ensure safety and security. Operate surveillance equipment to monitor premises and detect suspicious activity. Patrol the interior and exterior for irregularities. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or security breaches.
• Enforcement of Rules/Policies Ensure that security policies, regulations, and safety guidelines are followed. Document and report any incidents, accidents, or violations of security protocols Conduct searches of personnel bags
• Customer Service Provide assistance to visitors or employees and address security-related inquiries.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by their supervisor and not otherwise prohibited by law or Company policy
• Other duties that may be assigned
