Horizon Health is a Critical Access, Rural Health Facility comprised of 25-inpatient beds located in Paris, IL & a multitude of outpatient clinic settings including Family Practice and Specialty Clinics in Paris and surrounding cities. Position Summary: The Public Relations/Marketing Assistant provides support services to the Public Relations/Marketing team (as outlined by the Public Relations Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing & Communication). Functions include but are not limited to sorting, prioritizing, and distributing mail; ordering supplies; filing/logging; and miscellaneous clerical functions. The Assistant is responsible for answering the telephone for the Public Relations/Marketing area. He/she receives, screens, prioritizes, delivers, and/or responds to messages as directed by hospital policy and/or the above-mentioned leaders’ requests. Assists with financial processing of orders and events of all kinds—for public and for staff. The assistant is key to optimizing all department functions.
