About The Position
Scranton Powersports Group is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Powersports Parts Sales Associate to join our team in Vernon, Connecticut. This full-time, hourly position is ideal for someone who is passionate about powersports and enjoys helping customers find the right parts and accessories to elevate their riding experience. As a key member of our dealership team, you will play an important role in driving parts sales, supporting service operations, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior sales experience in the automotive or powersports industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of powersports vehicles, parts, and accessories
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
- Proficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale software
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work Saturdays
Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers with a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable approach
- Identify, explain, and recommend parts and accessories for a wide range of powersports vehicles
- Upsell complementary and related products to enhance customer value and satisfaction
- Accurately process orders, invoices, and payments using point-of-sale systems
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure shelves are stocked and organized
- Keep the parts department clean, efficient, and customer-ready
- Resolve customer questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- Stay current on industry trends, new products, and manufacturer updates
- Collaborate closely with the service department to support repairs and maintenance needs
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and performance targets
