About The Position

We are continuing to grow and looking to add to our winning team. Join the largest Powersports & Marine group in the State of Minnesota. River Valley Power and Sport of Red Wing is seeking a high-performing Powersports Parts & Accessories Specialist to take ownership of our accessory sales performance and parts operations support. This role is designed for someone who leads from the front, drives results, and sets the standard for customer experience within the parts department. We will train the right individual with strong sales ability and leadership presence. The ideal candidate is energetic, outgoing, accountable, and thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment centered around selling FUN outdoor on-road and off-road powersports products. We proudly represent the industry’s leading manufacturers: Can-Am, Honda, Polaris, Ryker, Ski-Doo, Slingshot, Spyder, Suzuki, and Yamaha. Position Overview This role serves as the primary driver of powersports accessory sales and a key operational leader within the parts department. You will influence revenue growth, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction while supporting service operations and dealership profitability.

Requirements

  • Sales-minded with the ability to identify opportunities and close business
  • 2–3 years of experience in parts, service advising, dealership operations, or customer-facing sales
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and guide customers
  • Passion for powersports products and the outdoor lifestyle
  • Self-directed, accountable, and comfortable taking initiative
  • High School diploma required

Nice To Haves

  • Dealership or related industry experience preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude or repair knowledge a plus
  • Related backgrounds strongly encouraged: agriculture, lawn & garden, automotive, small engine, motorcycle, powersports, RV, and camper industries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead accessory sales efforts for customers who have recently purchased units
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive parts and accessory recommendations
  • Support and collaborate with service teams to ensure timely parts fulfillment
  • Provide accurate and strategic cost estimates to customers and sales staff
  • Deliver a high-level customer experience that builds long-term loyalty
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and uphold operational standards
  • Oversee parts lookup, vendor ordering, and special-order processes
  • Manage invoicing, payment processing, and transaction accuracy
  • Assist in receiving, stocking, and merchandising inventory
  • Support lot operations, including occasional forklift use
  • Contribute to department organization, efficiency, and overall performance
