River Valley Marine of Rochester is seeking a Marine Service, Parts & Accessories Advisor to join one of the Top 10 Marine Dealers in North America. The Marine Service, Parts & Accessories Advisor serves as the primary point of contact for customers regarding boat service, maintenance, repairs, and marine parts. This role works closely with technicians, the service department, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow, accurate estimates, timely communication, and a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience required; dealership service advisor or parts counter experience preferred
  • Marine, boating, powersports, automotive, RV, or heavy equipment industry experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume dealership environment
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with computer systems; experience with Lightspeed Evo, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; technical or industry training is a plus
  • Team-focused mindset with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality

Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming phone calls, emails, and walk-in customers regarding marine service repair, boat maintenance, and parts inquiries
  • Write and manage service repair orders with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Provide clear and accurate cost estimates for labor, parts, and accessories
  • Communicate estimated repair timelines and pricing professionally
  • Coordinate repair scheduling with technicians and service team members
  • Order OEM and aftermarket marine parts and accessories using vendor systems
  • Maintain accurate parts inventory, assist with cycle counts, and process returns
  • Document customer concerns and service updates in LightspeedEVO Dealer Management System
  • Coordinate customer unit drop-off and pick-up
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships
  • Support overall service department efficiency and performance goals
