Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. Responsibilities: Own the design and release of FUPP components, from concept definition through to assembly-level integration. Evaluate multiple powertrain configurations (engine, transmission, MGU, cooling, air handling, final drive) in-vehicle and for design integration. Collaborate with suppliers of FUPP modules and components. Create and release detailed 3D models and technical data packages (TDPs) using CREO and PLM (TeamCenter). Coordinate with cross-functional internal teams: IPT leads, systems engineers, chief engineers, logistics, and manufacturing. Support design refinement using GDLS design release processes and tools. Participate in milestone/gateway reviews and provide program updates to stakeholders and leadership. Document findings and design outcomes in line with program and engineering standards. Simulate torque blending strategies in hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) powertrains. Develop control logic for fuel optimization, energy recovery, and range extension. Perform thermal modeling of batteries, electronics, and powertrain components. Create and correlate battery management system (BMS) models. Build and maintain multi-domain powertrain models, integrating engines, electric machines, batteries, and control electronics. Develop and evolve simulation toolsets to support advanced vehicle architectures. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering discipline (Master’s preferred) 10+ years of experience in powertrain component design, release, and simulation Matlab/Simulink simulation expertise required PLM (TeamCenter) and CREO CAD experience required Proven history in toolset development, modeling, and validation Experience with CAD data interrogation and manipulation GD&T proficiency a plus Powertrain electrification and hybrid systems experience strongly preferred Automotive or heavy-duty vehicle experience required; military land vehicle experience preferred Ability to work independently and deliver within structured engineering frameworks Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations On-site work required; milestone support may involve limited travel Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.
