Job Description We are in search of a growth interested candidate with some basic experience, background, and/or skills in the assembly, electrical, or hydraulic assembly fields. We will train you up from there. Our products require precision assembly, testing, and validation, and are manufactured to the highest standards, so you need to meet the following profile. Our ideal candidate is willing to learn and develop new skills. Is organized, focused on details, self-motivated, and has a strong mechanical and technical aptitude. This is an excellent growth opportunity in a fast-paced and technical field for the right candidate. Responsibilities include working in the compactor power units work cell, as well as assembly and testing of multiple styles of electrical controllers and control cabinets. This candidate will work from electrical wiring diagrams and Process Standards Sheets.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in 1 or more of the following fields: Electrical assembly, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical assembly.
Technical and mechanical aptitude.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Must be able to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
Must have manual dexterity and ability to work with hand tools and do precision work including basic wiring, and torquing of mechanical components.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of machine testing procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

Work side by side with team members, as well as independently to assemble and validate electrical control cabinets and electrical controllers for compactor power units.
Use drawings, Bills of Material, and process standards to properly assemble sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
Use hand tools, electric tools and torque tools to attach and properly secure a wide variety of components and subassemblies to a base plate.
Constant use of the hands and excellent dexterity required.
Follows assembly drawings and verbal directions from Team Leader and supervisor.
Documents actions by completing daily production logs.
Ability to follow instructions and management directive.
