Job Description As a key member of our technical operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and performance of the complex electronic systems our customers depend on. Your expertise will help maintain, troubleshoot, and restore highly specialized equipment that supports critical testing, measurement, and engineering functions. You’ll be joining a hands-on, solution‑focused environment where your technical judgment and problem‑solving abilities make an immediate impact.

Requirements

  • Advanced troubleshooting skills across electronic, electrical, and mechanical systems – required
  • Ability to interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical instructions – required
  • Skill in using algebra, geometry, and applied math for calculations and diagnostics – required
  • 4–5 years of related repair/maintenance experience – required
  • Technical associate degree or equivalent military training – required
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office and database software – required

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of RF equipment and high‑voltage systems – preferred
  • Experience servicing environmental chambers or similar systems – preferred

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair advanced electronic instruments, including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscope systems, and radio‑frequency (RF) equipment.
  • Service mechanical and electromechanical devices such as variable transformers, pumps, laser welders, and environmental chambers.
  • Diagnose and repair thermistor mounts, power sensors, and temperature/altitude chambers.
  • Work with high‑voltage power supplies and test equipment while applying safe troubleshooting methods down to component level.
  • Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and written technical instructions to resolve issues in digital, analog, and logic circuitry.
  • Disassemble, rebuild, and reassemble mechanical devices and components.
  • Program and adjust various controllers and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Apply strong analytical skills to solve non‑standard electrical, mechanical, and engineering challenges.
