Candidate will install various electrical parts and subcomponents and wire channels into large cabinets. Interconnecting and wiring these components and subassemblies based on electrical schematic and drawings. Landing wires in terminal blocks, relays and controls.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Technical certifications or related training.
  • Able to see, have good perception, and distinguish between colors.
  • Able to stand, climb, and bend for 8-10 hours.
  • Have good strength and be able to lift up to 51 lbs.
  • Quick hand and arm movement, or the movement of both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • Communicate information and ideas, both written and verbally so others will understand.
  • Have valid driver's license and able to drive an automobile.
  • Able to travel on short notice by public transportation including (i.e.: aircrafts, trains, bus, cars) domestically and internationally.
  • Must be able to satisfactorily complete the Inductotherm Corp. hiring process requirements which includes a comprehensive assessment, drug testing, and a background check.
  • The Company complies with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 and federal laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Install various electrical parts and subcomponents and wire channels into large cabinets.
  • Interconnecting and wiring these components and subassemblies based on electrical schematic and drawings.
  • Landing wires in terminal blocks, relays and controls.
  • Math skills - adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and working with fractions.
  • Able to read measuring devices - rulers, tape measures, squares, levels, Vernier’s, protractors and formulas.
  • Electrical aptitude – Identify wire gage and sizes, able to crimp termination lugs and spades and identify the correct crimper.
  • Able to operate power tools, i.e.: electric drills, electric screwdriver, etc.
  • Able to read and comprehend mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for oneself and co-workers at all times.
  • Perform general housekeeping as required.
  • Regular in attendance and able and willing to work a reasonable amount of overtime.
  • Will handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Able to operate an overhead crane, drive a forklift and electric pallet truck.
