About The Position

The MIL Corporation seeks a Power Platform Specialist, Senior Analyst to support a Federal Government client at our Charleston, SC location. As a member of the Systems Development and Maintenance (SDM) team, the Power Platform Specialist will design, develop, and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies-including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse-to streamline business processes, improve data visibility, and enhance productivity. This role bridges business needs and technical capabilities, delivering secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that align with organizational goals. This position currently requires an on-site schedule. Schedule is subject to change based on company/contract requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Proven experience designing and developing solutions in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
  • Experience in governance, security, and compliance for Power Platform solutions.
  • Familiarity with tooling such as Git, Jira, Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with data modeling, Power Query, and building Power BI reports.
  • Solid understanding of integration technologies and protocols.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proactive approach to problem identification and resolution.
  • Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals or Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate.
  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud Services.
  • Understanding of application lifecycle management (ALM) in Power Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy applications, workflows, dashboards, and reports using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business processes, identify automation opportunities, and translate needs into technical requirements.
  • Connect Power Platform solutions to Microsoft 365, Azure services, and third-party systems through APIs, connectors, and custom integrations.
  • Implement secure and efficient data models, governance policies, and access controls to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Develop training materials, conduct workshops, and provide end-user support to ensure adoption and effective use of solutions.
  • Monitor solution performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes for speed, reliability, and scalability.
  • Promote standards, documentation, and governance frameworks for sustainable Power Platform development.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Power Apps and Power Automate features and trends
