About The Position

Knowledge Business Services (KBS) is a leading multidisciplinary organization supporting software, professional services, and technology solutions across regulated government and commercial markets. KBS provides shared services and governance for multiple operating entities, including Knowledge Services, RAMPquest, RAMPxchange, dotStaff, and other mission-focused business units. KBS is seeking a Power Platform Developer to support internal enterprise application development and business process automation initiatives. This role focuses on designing, developing, and enhancing solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Automate, and Azure DevOps within an Agile delivery environment. The Power Platform Developer will play a key role in building scalable, user-friendly applications, dashboards, and automated workflows that improve operational efficiency across corporate teams.

Requirements

2–5 years of experience in Power Apps development
Proven experience developing Model-Driven Applications
Strong knowledge of Dataverse, including:
Custom tables and column creation
FX and calculated columns
Entity relationships and data modeling
Experience using Power Automate for workflow automation
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps
Experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting enterprise business systems and cross-functional corporate teams
Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI
Experience developing scalable internal automation solutions
Hands-on experience with AI Builder, Cognitive Services, or Copilot Studio to drive business automation
Proven experience integrating Power Platform with Azure (Logic Apps, Functions, API Management)
Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript for extending Dataverse and Canvas apps.

Responsibilities

Design and build complex Model-Driven and Canvas Apps using Power Apps, Dataverse, and advanced Power Fx
Implement AI-powered automation using AI Builder and integrate AI components into applications
Extend Power Platform functionality by integrating with Azure services, including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and Azure Cognitive Services
Create and modify forms, views, dashboards, and user experiences
Develop and update business rules to support corporate processes
Design and implement business process flows within the Power Platform ecosystem
Create and modify custom tables, columns, and relationships within Dataverse
Develop FX and calculated columns to support business logic
Ensure data integrity and appropriate entity structure across enterprise solutions
Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate
Integrate workflows with Dataverse and Power Apps to streamline internal business operations
Support process improvement initiatives through automation and orchestration
Utilize Microsoft Azure DevOps for work tracking, deployment coordination, and team collaboration
Participate in Scrum/Agile ceremonies and iterative development cycles
Work closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions
